You make shit up. We are going into a cooling stage now, the heating and cooling is due to the cycles of the sun. How do you account for the synchronous melting and now synchronous expanding (due to the cooling stage the solar system experiencing due to the cycles of the sun) of both Earth's and Mars' ice caps? You either believe the COP15 wannabe global corporate dictators who use fraud, or you believe real science. I believe the real science not based on fraud and power-grabbing / money-grabbing. Only people with the intellect of an amoeba believe the man made global warming propaganda spew.

ROTFL. Prove it.

Things are static right now. There was a spike in 1998 ( from memory ) that we have not bettered since then. People who want to talk about the little ice age, should surely appreciate that global time is slow, a 10 year pause does not prove anything, either way.

All the people who attack AGW want to tell us how complex the world's weather is, and yet offer these sort of simplistic questions. Any scientist, as opposed to a newspaper writer, knows that the theory of AGW is one of total average temp increase, but also of cooling in some areas.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

You would not know real science if it smacked you in the face. Science is the religion of the day, people saying they believe 'real science' in promoting their views today are no different to people who would invoke God as their justification 200 years ago, UNLESS they actually understand the science. You do not.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

The you tube videos you post prove you cannot claim that level of intelligence. I'd agree, anyone with at least the intellect of an amoeba should be able to discern some understanding of the facts without falling prey to either groups of extremists pushing their own agendas.

Yes, but when he's on YouTube, he's magically transformed into "all that is good and right," remember?

The core difference between him watching TV and you watching YouTube, is how easily you can turn off anything that challenges your views and how you can ALWAYS find something to justify your world view. TV is not great. You tube is worse.

You do realise, I hope, that the science only believes that we are heading toward an ice age, and it only belives that based on the evidence and theories it has right now, all of these are open to change at any point. Also that when they say now, they mean within the next thousand or 10's of thousands of years? This is geology, nothing happens fast! BTW the sun's cycles has nowt to do with ice ages. Generally the sun's output is always increasing, which would suggest everything should be getting dryer and hotter, but it doesn't as you've said, we have cycles. There are smaller cycles of sunspot activty, but these are too weak and frequent i.e. we should have more ice ages than we've had. Most science tends to say these small cycles might amplify an ice-age, and not cause it.

Oh hey, you going to admit you had no idea what Black Propaganda meant even after you linked to it? I am pretty impressed by this one. A bunch of people point out how wrong you are and all you can manage to do it is pick up on this 1 guys mistake. Since you can't admit you are wrong and ignore any argument that you can't win, we'll all be free to assume the points made were valid. Off-shoring was done to save money (stupidly) and your friend that thinks global warming is a crock happens to have been one of the biggest proponents of it in Britain. So he's working for part of the conspiracy against another part. Maybe they should fire him?

Oh hey, you going to look up Black Propaganda again and STILL NOT EFFING UNDERSTAND IT?!?!?! Kind of stupid to tell someone to look up a term when you have done so yourself and NOT UNDERSTOOD IT!!! And the peon line is getting old. That all you got? Get some more inventive terms. Oh, you still haven't addressed my point. I don't care that he was wrong. I noticed that he missed the 2nd point and thought you had done only 1. yippee. My point is that you were refuted by 2 other people, quite handily, and you ignored them just to pounce on the mistake. What, can't handle going toe to toe on those points? So again, the guy is working FOR the conspiracy by sending jobs away while working AGAINST it by stopping the global warming machine? So answer me this, is he with the conspiracy or against it? And don't try to deflect or use a strawman.

You make a problem and when people demand something to stop it you make a solution that makes your personal power grow. Yippee, simple enough concept. Kinda like Black propaganda. Which you still don't understand even after linking to it in Wikipedia (after you had said it was not a valid source) What does any of this have to do with a guy outsourcing jobs and then combatting global warming advocates? Outsourcing jobs wasn't causing people to think AGW must be happening. This guy was all for outsourcing jobs. So he is obviously part of the conspiracy. He's fighting the conspiracy on AGW. So now, if you are using problem/reaction/solution as an excuse for his behavior, why were you defending him LESS THAN A WEEK AGO?!?! Oh and you going to admit you don't understand the term black propaganda?

Actually they're pretty much the same thing. Kind of like black propaganda[^], you don't understand your own terminology. In Tales From The Time Loop (2003), Icke argues that most organized religions, especially Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, are Illuminati creations designed to divide and conquer the human race through endless conflicts, as are racial, ethnic, and sexual divisions. He cites the Holocaust, the Oklahoma City bombing, and 9/11 as examples of events organized by the Global Elite.[50] The incidents allow the Elite to respond in whatever way they intended to act in the first place, a concept Icke calls "order out of chaos," or "problem-reaction-solution," his version of the Hegelian dialectic. -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Problem-reaction-solution#Problem-reaction-solution[^] In other words, "Problem-reaction-solution" = "divide and conquer". Frankly, I think the whole theory is a load of garbage, and I'm sure you'll think of a mindless insult in response to that, since you can't even support your own theories, but maybe you should at least look up the terms yourself[^] before you ask us to do the same. Oh, and BY THE WAY... Here's another quote from the article describing the guy who invented your "problem-reaction-solution" concept! "His ontology amounts to a neo-Hegelian idealism with an extraterrestrial twist. He argues that human beings are the result of a breeding program conducted by a race of reptilians called Anunnaki from the planet Draco, and that what we call reality is nothing but a "five-sense illusion," or holographic experience. Oddly the Lamarckian belief bothers me far more than any of the rest. But then possibly because I can actually prove it completely wrong myself.
Oh come on. You can't do that. Why just yesterday I thought it was too cold to go outside in the 5ft drifts and grew a parka on my skin in response. It obviously works, just ask the giraffes.

I was more thinking that despite my family's history I wasn't born with a DWI record(and for that matter still don't have one). It's fun to watch the believers sputter when I use that one. A good way to see if they actually even understand what it is.
You will find a lot of anti-evolution advocates have a view that this is how evolution actually works in the theories. That and they have no idea what a scientific theory is. Dalak Dave's signature shows how a theory can be misunderstood quite well.

The answer is in your look-up of problem/reaction/solution.
Problem - Reaction - Solution. The problem is: if you believe in a shadowy 'them', and you identify an event as the Solution that 'they' wanted, it is easy to select an appropriate 'Problem' and 'Reaction' from the set of events preceding the 'Solution'. Indeed, more than one 'Problem - Reaction' set may be selected. It is how many conspiracy hypotheses may be created from the same set of historical facts, depending on who 'they' are (Military, Bankers, Communists, yada yada). What concerns me is that your 'elite' is taking so long to take over, they must be inept. I suspect it is led by Mr. Bean and E.L. Wisty.
