Anyone with access to Journal For Plague Lovers by Manic Street Preachers? Load up the first track, Peeled Apples. Fast forward to 2 minutes and 17 seconds. Jon Skeet[^]? ;P

Took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about. I see the lyrics say "Chomsky's Camelot", not "Jon Skeet's Camelot." But due to the coarse, rough sound of the singer's voice, I also said "Jon Skeet" when I heard it. :)

I see Jon Skeet when I look in a flower. best, Bill p.s. unfortunately he's always frowning at me and silently mouthing the words : "you dunce." p.s.p.s. "C# in Depth" is the best technical book I've ever read !

"Many : not conversant with mathematical studies, imagine that because it [the Analytical Engine] is to give results in numerical notation, its processes must consequently be arithmetical, numerical, rather than algebraical and analytical. This is an error. The engine can arrange and combine numerical quantities as if they were letters or any other general symbols; and it fact it might bring out its results in algebraical notation, were provisions made accordingly." I must say that Skeet being at Google puzzles me, but I read, somewhere, that part of his contract says he can spend 20% of his time on C# and/or whatever he wants to do, and he's certainly extremely active on StackOverFlow, and, I read, preparing an update of "C# in Depth." It would be interesting to know ... if the 20% thing is true ... what his duties are for the other 80% of his time. best, Bill
