That's really sad. I certainly wish the best for your friends. May they find peace and consolation even in their sorrow. Yes, we often do take things for granted and it sometimes takes a tragedy to make one realize how good we quite often have it.

Thanks. They have a lot of friends looking out for them and family making sure they are okay as well.

Good friends lost their daughter Tuesday. She was stillborn. During everything they almost lost the mom. Tonight I have the duty of going to their house, taking apart their bassinet and crib and taking them away so that the family won't be reminded until they are ready. I will be helped by a couple who lost their baby earlier this year in the second trimester because they refuse to not help. Count your blessings people. Not having to work for a few days this month is nothing, NOTHING, compared to having a family that is healthy and happy. Go give your wife/husband/significant other and any kid(s) a hug and a kiss, tell them you love them and make sure you spend time with them. We take too much for granted sometimes and we shouldn't. Friends and family are what make this season so wonderful, not toys. Go hug someone you love and quit messing around on the internet.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Sounds like it was late term too, although losing a baby is always tough, for them to have been that ready, I hope they are OK.

*grin* that's probably good advice more often than not.

They were inducing because she was a big baby and was already a week late. They were allowed to hold her so they could say goodbye.

Very true. I think I will take it for the day.

Bloody hell. That's just awful. I wonder if they should have done a caesarian then ? I guess hindsight is 20/20.

Oh god, that's dreadfull news and a nightmare for the parents to comprehend :( . I'm the father of a very premature baby who has, through the immense skill of the fabulous staff at the Queen Mothers Hospital in Glasgow, grown up into a perfectly normal teenager, but I never forget the parents that weren't so lucky :( and there were a lot :( . Every parent expects it to be the best time of their lives, and it can so easily turn into the worst time.... I'm deeply, truly sorry for your friends. :rose: Andy B

Not to take anything away from your sadness, but we just heard from a friend of ours; he's now the proud father of a bouncing baby girl. In our little corner of the universe, this week does rock. :-D

Hi Ragnaroknrol, That is heart-breaking, but sensing your love for your friends, in your behavior, and words here, is a goodness. best, Bill

This is an error. The engine can arrange and combine numerical quantities as if they were letters or any other general symbols; and it fact it might bring out its results in algebraical notation, were provisions made accordingly."
