Can any one recommend me some good registry cleaner software available for “free” download. Actually, I was engaged in lot of ActiveX and other COM related stuff last few weeks and so there are hundreds of missing enteries and unnecessary stuff present in registry. During the days of Windows 98, I used Norton Utilities but the version of NU I got is not instaling on Win2k/XP. I am also searching Google , still I want some recommendations from CPians Imran Farooqui World first Urdu Instant Messenger[^] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Java is a tool for creating applications that torture users with its awful speed and its ugly interfaces. Create a quick & dirty program that enumerate all keys under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID, look for the LocalServer32 or InprocServer32, check if the file is still there and remove the key if not. My latest articles: Desktop Bob - Instant CP notifications XOR tricks for RAID data protection
