Winservice installer issue

Dear All, I created a Windows Service and a installer project for it. The problem is that ofter unistalling the service through the setup file or through 'Add/Remove Progrmes' in Win XP, the service is still present in the 'Services' list in the system.' I have to use the command prompt of Visual Studio to remove the service from the list. How can i fix this problem? Thanks in advance.
