Nope. We all wear aluminum foil beanies to make sure those wavelengths don't pollute our thinking.

you would show inquisitiveness & inclinitation towards the topic in discusssion.you might start asking details on what are the possibilities. then i might inquire abt your back ground - and if we we match we could find a fit.

        - You are so animated in your talk. There was not one guy who replied back with a inquisitiveness as yours. In specific - compsci -- design patterns/ enterprise architecture stuff.

Sounds suspiciously like either: 1) Homework. 2) Buzzword Bullshit.

Well, here's a little reality check for you... No one is going to commit serious time without knowing what the project is Lots of people have "great ideas," but very few can put them into a useful form (In this case, a book)... You don't have to reveal the gritty details, but you will need to get more specific than "design patterns". Writing a book is HARD WORK. I've written two full-length novels (Second one will be published later this year), and writing a technical book is even more time-consuming. If you expect someone to join you for that, you have to be prepared to explain what you're going to be writing about.

Hold on a second... Don't use me to justify your posts. I'm trying to make you understand that you need to explain EXACTLY what you're going to write about. There are a lot of smart and talented people here, and no one is going to waste their time committing to a project that only describes itself as "design patterns and enterprise."

come on Ian - when i say ,design patterns and enterprise architecture -i guess the theme is conveyed. More of what can be written can be discussed off line. - that was i was thinking. how would you approach it.?

ofcourse i would mention - but dont you thin mentioning more than design patterns and enterprise architecture ,would be more ,than what is apt for this board.

The period belonged after "spell." Now why don't you head off to the Back Room and leave these nice, but uninterested, people alone?
