...at least that's how it feels. I just downloaded and installed Windows Live Messenger* and suddenly all I get from the Windows Live server is an unstyled page saying 'Service Unavailable". There's clearly no cause and effect going on, but it gives me an insight into some of the emails I occasionally get: "I posted a message and broke the servers" "I uploaded an image and broke the servers" "I made disparaging remarks about John Simmons and my computer just exploded in a ball of molten metal" * Whatever happened to plain old "Windows Messenger" as a name...

You must be insane - we don't sacrifice virgins... They're already hard enough to come by... Instead, we sacrifice the old an sickly. After all, they're on their last legs, and nobody will really miss them.

...at least that's how it feels. I just downloaded and installed Windows Live Messenger* and suddenly all I get from the Windows Live server is an unstyled page saying 'Service Unavailable". There's clearly no cause and effect going on, but it gives me an insight into some of the emails I occasionally get: "I posted a message and broke the servers" "I uploaded an image and broke the servers" "I made disparaging remarks about John Simmons and my computer just exploded in a ball of molten metal" * Whatever happened to plain old "Windows Messenger" as a name...

cheers, Chris Maunder The Code Project | Co-founder Microsoft C++ MVP
