One of my mate is badly in need of some extra money and asked me if there is any way to earn money online. The first thing striked me was - there are few sites where you have to answer questions and you get paid for each question you answer correctly and moreover you don't have to pay any initial money to register. But i can't remember the name of that company now. Does any one know any good company like that and which is not fraud ofcourse. Thank You Andyyy

I think Exxon are paying lots of people to ask penetrating questions about AGW online! :)

To echo another reply, it's just pennies (or cents, or whatever).

Not really. For example, the time it takes to earn 50 cents doing such work, I could put time into the garden that will equate to more than 50 cents worth of produce. 50 cents is an amount that is so useless, in real terms, that it's not worth any real effort at all.

I could make a rude suggestion, but instead I'll point out the obvious. No-one is paying anyone anything approaching real money for answering questions online, doing online surveys, etc. They don't need to.

I wonder if there are laws regarding that. One would think that they SHOULD at least offer minimum wage. Then again, if some country doesn't have a minimum wage, that could get them all the business, so maybe that isn't feasible.

I said Cents is better than nothing, and working in the garden is something to do therefor it is not included in my sentence.

There are a fair few mystery shopper services - you get paid to go eat a meal, or make a purchase at a particular shop - they'll refund your costs, and often let you keep the thing you bought too. Obviously that's only any good if he's got his own transport, but it might be worth a go

Sorry but the "each question you answer correctly" bit rules that out. :-D

I tried to do some of that when I was out of work a few years ago. Answering questions and doing contracts on exchange sites like RentACoder. Answering questions didn't really bring in much cash and the exchange sites were full of people who tried to scam you out of your work after you did it and you're competing against people who bid $2 for a job that would take a week (you see alot of these people in the lounge LOOKING FOR CODEZ PLZ) I think I made about $100 in a month of reasonably hard work. You'll get a much better payback by spending the time researching new angles into the job market or networking via linkedin, facebook etc to find out where good jobs are going

I'll be quite interested to see what you think when you've checked it out. I've had a look but I can't really work out if it's going to be worthwhile for Westerners. I always thought something like RentACoder was a good idea, until I saw the type of $$$ people were prepared to pay.
