Hi all, More often than not, I manage to answer my own question that were posted within the Quick Answers / Questions Section (this may take a hour or a week), but the thing is I cannot mark them as the answer ... why not? How will someone else know that, that was the answer? I think this functionality must be added to the page?! Kind regards,

Not really a lounge topic - you would get a better response posting it in the "Site Bugs and Suggestions" forum.

Just edit your original message to include the solution and cjhange the title to end with "[SOLVED]".

you missed the point completely. After an hour or a week it does not qualify as a quick answer. :)

I think this is a good practice since it adds a value to the CP. Though I never ask and rarely answer questions it sounds fear if you have asked question and later on find the answer by yourself, to update your post.

Then to rephrase... answer my own question ... (nanosecond, millisecond, second, hour ...), it not like the answer is given to you in quick time anyway by other members (not all the time)?!

you are right, they should let you add an answer to your own question, and let you explicitly accept it. :)
