Seriously, after letting my Action Pack subscription retire, I just renewed a week ago. Today I get the following e-mail. Does your business develop commercial software or web sites? If so, then we have a great new subscription for you! Launching on May 24, 2010, Microsoft Action Pack Development and Design Do you qualify? Subscribers to Action Pack Development and Design must meet the following requirements: • You must be a Registered member of the Microsoft Partner Network  • You cannot be enrolled as a Gold Certified or Certified partner  • Your organization must have no more than 100 employees and you need to provide a company URL  • You must complete a brief, online assessment and pass with a score of 70% or higher  • You cannot be enrolled in more than one Action Pack subscription at a time WTF  • Subscribing companies may have more than one subscription per company location, but may only have one subscription per country  Is it just me, or does that last qualification make no sense at all?? I can have two subscriptions here in the US office, but only one subscription in the US. I don't get it.

You are reading it wrong: 'may only have one subscription per country'. You cannot have 0 per country. If you are in 5 countries, you can must have 5 subscriptions, but they can all be in your US office.

      Opacity, the new Transparency.

It doesn't say MUST HAVE "one subscription per country". 0 would be allowed? Boy, and this isn't even legaleze. Sheesh.

:wtf: I'm with you on this. That last qualification is like the aborted love child of lawyers and upper management.
