Soapbox and Lounge

Hmmmm This is just an observation. The Lounge seems to be a general place where all kinds of CPians come and go. But only the more hard-core CPians seem to chk out or post on the Soapbox. As I said, jus an observation! Nish [Core SoapBoxer (He's also a Lounger)]

I like the Soapbox a bit better than the Lounge, but I'm not offended easily and it's quieter here (less posts per day), although lately it's a little too quiet... :~

Hey, I just 'found' the soap box the other day, but like that you can post what's on your mind without concerning yourself with what might come up on someone screen while they are at work (in other words.. no worries about the kid sister). Then again, it should be mentioned that I've only been coming to CP for 8 days now. --------------------------------------------- The greenest grass is NOT on the other side of the fence, its the grass you take care of. Hmm... I visited CP semi-regularly for maybe 4-6 months before bothering to sign up for a membership. And it was about 4 months more before i bothered to post in The Lounge (i was over-caffeinated, and needed someone to argue with. Thanks David!). It was more than a month after that before i posted in The Soapbox, and even then not often. Another observation: It is *very* unusual to see anyone asking programming questions in The Soapbox. I wonder why this is... ;)

So they took me down to the gallows And this boy, he said to me: "Why do you smile, when the rope's around your neck?" I said, "I tell you boy, when i get back..."

But what do you do if your kid sister is a CPian and goes into the soapbox :omg: Would you like to meet my teddy bear ?

Collapse in convulsions and get ripped apart as your universes(or wouldn't that be multiverses) collide. :-D

I like the Soapbox - less noise, and more interesting topics :-D . The lounge is cool for hanging though, I find that switching between the two helps my day pass more enjoyably!
