I am for a swift and complete correction in order to rid ourselves of the cancerous central banks and manipulation. They created the crisis, and said "You will give us more power or else we will fuck you over even harder". It's like being handcuffed while a mafia gangster sets your house on fire, and says he will put it out if you give him everything he asks for.

You live in a bizarre fantasy world. Like most delusions, it relates to the real world through complete misinterpretation and misunderstanding of things that do really happen.

It is in fact kind of weird that he'd insult CSS by calling him a vagina when the truth is that most guys think that vaginas are most excellent. Funny old language, English.

Yes, but not many want to be one.

You really and truly haven't a clue. If the Euro implodes, the United States, who has too much itself to lose, will likely follow. Inter-government fiscal/political arrangements coupled with your industries, investors and banks. Huge sums of money are at risk. Nobody will be safe from a dramatic failure of this Eurozone experiment. And worse could follow ...

That is called a correction. The people who are safe are the ones who invest in gold and silver, have food stocked up, and have firearms. Sucks to be you though.

No, that scenario is not a correction. It is a very large part of Financial Armageddon. The gold in your fillings/rings/pendants won't get you far, and you ain't rich enough to own even little pieces of bullion! If (or when) the balloon goes off, you had better hide. There are others within and without of the United States who have bigger and better guns that you could only dream about.

All 3 of them, except they aren't safe, because NO ONE WILL GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT GOLD OR SILVER! The only intrinsic value in those lumps of rock is that they looked pretty. They have no real value. They'll drop like a rock in value too. The only commodities that will keep value in a market where all currency spirals are tangible, useful items. Tools, firearms, food, those will be traded. Heck, if you go Mad Max about it, water and fuel will be important too.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

Oh, you covered them. Except you forget that stocking up only lasts a specific amount of time. The best part is that with your income being what it is (you have indicated you WISHED you made as much as I would consider a joke salary) your "stocking up" can't amount to much. Also considering you are a coward at heart you having firearms is a joke.

Who does it suck to be more? Someone in a different economic environment that happens to own property and who will nto have morons trying to destroy it, or you? He will be able to grow food if needed, even if only in a small garden. That trumps your ability to with no real property to speak of (mom's basement doesn't count) Funny part is that if the economic system we have collapsed tomorrow, I'd be okay. I still have marketable skills.

ROTFL. That's an interesting fantasy. Your pop gun won't protect you when the locals come looking for your food. You may kill a few, but they have nothing to lose. In such an end of world scenario, what makes you think your few bits of gold will carry any value compared to food, which is what will be scarce ?

The trouble is the only food he has stocked up on is the pizza slices he steals from his job and that won't last for long.

I bet he lies awake at night, imagining a future where other people grow food, and he uses his gun to come and take it. I'd love to watch that unfold, although I doubt it would last long, or that he would last long.

Says the person who doesn't have the right to own a gun. A common handgun will hold 14 rounds per clip, a shotgun would be more suitable though. A few bloody rotten corpses in their path would be detorant too.

Actually, I CAN own a gun if I want to. I just don't need one to fuel delusions of adequacy. I am hurt you did not reply to my thread above.

The interesting thing is, because Australians tend NOT to own guns, the gun I could own would be comparatively more effective than the ones you're likely to own. That they would let you personally own a gun tells me everything I need to know about what is wrong with America. Nice attempt at a save, though. Can't change that I caught you out in your ignorance, as per usual.

No, it makes your government's forceful measures more effective, because they have the real guns.

I can shoot 14 rounds as fast as I can pull the trigger, and load another clip in 2 seconds, and pop off another 14 rounds. I can buy API rounds, I can own a 50 cal and pierce armor plating. You can't.

In your fantasy world, I guess that is true. No mass shootings in Australia since Port Arthur, and crime has gone down. How does the US compare ?
