    The article is more of a joke than anything. If Macs die it's only because there will be a new desktop to replace it - that is unless desktops become obsolete all across the board. I mean really, making the assumption that just because the desktop wasn't talked about at one conference means they're gonna dump it them is just absurd.

      Don't get me wrong. I don't think it's going away anytime soon, but I can't remember the last mac commercial.
