Yeah, he programs the Pizza Machine so that he doesn't burn them before he delivers them.

This is so stupid, I can't even respond in haiku... Did you even READ the actual article? I mean the article, not the spin provided on InfoWars. Here, I'll make this REALLY easy for you... Here[^] is the actual article it refers to, and if you use your few remaining brain cells, you'll see that this has NOTHING to do with stopping you from getting online. What they're trying to do is establish a common standard for identity management companies to provide a secure login to make PURCHASES and few BANKING and MEDICAL records. The point is that you could use an RSA-style token to prove your identity before the site will be able to process your credit card. The government isn't even trying to control this. They're just setting up standards so multiple companies can administrate it, but still have their systems interoperate, so you won't need one token for each site you're logging into that requires it. They're not even making it mandatory, just available, kind of like SSL encryption. Now, given that information... What's your next stupid objection?

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

Something similar has been working in the UK for a while now When finishing online transactions with your debit / credit card. The transaction is then sent to your bank for authorisation and the bank then requests that you complete a security process that you set up the first time you try online purchasing. The have been different type of securty systems on bank accounts for years including card tokens

I have that on my HSBC account, my partner got given a device that's similar to the RSA key fob which needs her to put her card in, type the PIN in and then use the code she gets back from that on the site itself. It seems alot fo steps to me but hey, that's security.

Being a programmer is no different from being a child who knows how to use a computer. It is common knowledge. Software sucks these days because of so called "programmers" like yourself. Third world scum writing trash that hardly works. I never said I was a programmer, I am a Software Engineer. Someone who actually knows the ins and outs of a computer, who started with DOS and assembly language. Get a clue moron, you are an HTML "programmer".

Piece of advice, kiddo... Your "l33t h4x0r" skills, however imaginary, are utterly meaningless in the real world if you can't interact with other human beings. Any programmer can write code, but a GOOD programmer can communicate with his peers and end users to figure out what needs to be written. If you ever actually found a programming job, you'd realize that treating other people like inferiors just because they aren't white, male, libertarian disciples of Alex Jones, doesn't earn you any accolades. And for the record... Programmer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Analyst... They're all just words. I could call myself anything from Code Monkey to department CTO, all of which would be valid, but it doesn't make me any more or less talented. If you're really going to insult him for calling himself a "Programmer," you've really run out of ammo.

Titles are made to look flashy on business cards and CVs, to impress people who don't yet know you. In my last job, I had the title of "Vice President." Did that mean I was the second-in-command of the 14,000-member company? No, "Vice President" was simply the first rank above "Employee". It was just a title designed to make people feel special, while actually being completely meaningless. Titles mean absolutely nothing, unless backed up by skill, power, or responsibility.

Employed or not. Employer or not. Civility costs nothing. If you treat others how you would want others to treat you, your own life will be that much more happier and fulfilling. Also remember, irrespective of your status, the customer is king, and should be treated accordingly. They ultimately pay your wages.

Being a programmer is no different from being a child who knows how to use a computer. It is common knowledge. Software sucks these days because of so called "programmers" like yourself. Third world scum writing trash that hardly works. I never said I was a programmer, I am a Software Engineer.
