Believe me it took real hard effort to increase my daily water intake, right now drinking 4 liters of cool clear water per day, no colas no sweetened drinks. Drinking lots and lots of water is undoubtedly good for health, but since human body is made of 70% fluid I am finding this increased intake of water actually put few extra pounds on me. Nevertheless, drink(only water), enjoy and stay safe :)

I don't think that can happen. I guess you need to cut on those burgers which you eat before sipping water. :)

Drinking lots and lots of water will kill you. Drinking excessive water can lead to serious electrolyte imbalances in your body. Since a person gets quite a bit of water from food, drinking about two liters is sufficient for most adults.

Depends on your size and how much you consume, I used to do cardio workout for 30 minutes everyday and lose almost half a liter water in the morning itself. Moreover, my dietitian told me that the max limit of daily intake of fluids is your weight in pounds/40, it comes exact 5 liters a day for me.

Did you ever hear this one: A guy walks into a bar and orders three beers. He explained to the bartender that he had just moved from Wisconsin where he and his two buddies would have a drink every Friday. The two other beers were in memory of his buddies. One Friday he walks in and orders two beers instead of three! The bartender asks: why two? The man replies: "I've quit drinking" (Corny? sure it is) :-D

I try to refrain from eating and drinking water together this dilutes digestive acids, slow down metabolism and in result you may actually put extra flab.

No, it doesn't, that is a fallacy. In fact for about 100 years the people of london only frank beer, as the water would have killed you. Children would get two pints of beer a day at school (those that could afford to go there), and most people would drink 6 to 8 pints a day. It is an urban myth that beer dehydrates. There is far more water in the beer than the alcohol could possible absorb.

I can easily finish a 64 oz coke over a movie (that's regular size at the local movie theater), I guess I should avoid watching more than one movie a day.

I've been drinking about three liters a day this summer. And only one (large) cup of coffee.
