The desire to molest children appears to occur 'naturally' in some people. I am not drawing a parallel, and I personally have no trouble with people being gay, goodness knows it's not their choice, but with that caveat, it seems to me that the 'it occurs naturally' argument really has little weight. Comparing animal to human sexual behaviour is often the same as saying 'why don't we all just screw each other and live in a pack, not in a family unit', while that is not true of many animals, I am certain it is true of sheep. Paul Watson wrote: Reading up on the definition of moral I found that morals are very much linked to sexual matters. i.e. that when you talk about morals, sexual perversion is top of the list in relevanc Isn't it funny, that's what it always ends up meaning, yet the word 'moral' surely just is linked to what is right and good, and what is not. For example, if society allows euthanasia is surely a moral decision that has nothing to do with sex. And any idiot who feels the need to try and establish if homosexuality is biological in the year 2002 probably had a grant and needed something to spend it on, IMO. The article seems to confirm what I have read in the past - males get three shots of testosterone in the womb, and females do not. Typically gay men missed out on some, and gay women got some by mistake. It's a fascinating theory, IMO, although it does not explain the very butch heterosexual women in the world, of which I know a couple. Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 During last 10 years, with invention of VB and similar programming environments, every ill-educated moron became able to develop software. - Alex E. - 12-Sept-2002

[my musings] Ok their is no knowm mechanism that the host mother can determine the sex of the fetus she is carrying. Thus it is unlikely she can respond with hormonal input to the growth. Consider the case of mixed sex fraternal twins existance and you would see how unlikely this is, it would mean that almost always one would be gay or lesbian. However there is a possibility that a mother could have a high androstenedione level but its conversion rate would in no way be known. The other alternative that seems more probable is that incorrect estradiol levels are created in some male fetuses after the testes and gonadal creation and this could cause problems. I mention the above in relation only to mammals because of the seperate sexual development of genitillia and brain. Another factor that must be considered is the palacememt of the gentillia determination gene on the chromosones. Which is just another reason why males can be born as females and vice versa and where hermaphrodites enter the world. [riddle intended] [/my musings] From my knowledge what these folk have done with sheep is very old news in relation to human medical science where this has been known for a darn long time. However it has never been dumped on the popular press, possibly because they wouldn't understand it. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

You are the intrepid one, always willing to leap into the fray! A serious character flaw, I might add, but entertaining. Said by Roger Wright about me.

It's a lovely country if you ever want to pop along. Much better than ghastly England. We have hills and sheep, all they have is people with bowler hats and umbrellas. Yes, the stereotypes are true! Don't listen to David, he's biased! I have been here a year and this is probably the best signature I've ever had.
