Hi, - The day is Monday in the first place. - My house has a over voltage problem :(( - My new NETGEAR ADSL + Router has burnt because of over voltage (I bought after a long planning, its signal was good that I could connect to it from any corner of the whole building) :(( - My DELL OptiPlex 755 SMPS is burnt (I guess it is only the SMPS) :sigh: - My wife's Laptop's adapter burnt :-\ (I hope she stop working at home) I called DELL for my Optiplex 755 raised the ticket which will be fixed by Wednesday. I have the Warranty. :) Have to call NETGEAR to claim the warranty. Thank god, my 32" LCD, 1.5T AC and Fridge are still working. Later after the incident we called up the Electricity Board and they inspected our apartments and said that the EB line got fire and that is the problem for the OVER VOLTAGE. They have put some temp fix. :|

Man, I feel for you! You should really install one of those thing which break in case of volt surge! I bought this one for my new PC, see only $AU 49! and a lot less trouble! :-) http://www.mwave.com.au/search.asp?search=33020116[^]

A train station is where the train stops. A bus station is where the bus stops. On my desk, I have a work station.... _________________________________________________________ My programs never have bugs, they just develop random features.

Ouch! Would it be worth getting a surge suppressor for the mroe expensive items? At least that way you only lost the surpressor.
