You are not making any sense. Of course it sucks to be on the bad end of this. So unless you're at the bad end of this, so what?

I hear you Harold. It may be unethical but not illegal. Like those HTML/VB developers of the 90s charging 200 bucks an hour for work that required the intellect and knowledge of a trained 6 year old. :-D

Check out http://www.monoprice.com/[^] for great deals on HDMI cables (and tons of other stuff). I've bought several, and they work great.

You're still getting ripped off. Buy them a week in advance from monoprice[^] for a fraction of that price.

Take a look next time a little closer, anything that plugs into a computer is about 300% to 900% over priced compared with what you get from just up the road.

After shipping, does it really matter?

2$ on ebay. There is a catch, you have to buy a pack of three.

Base rate shipping for a 3' HDMI cable bumped the price from about $2.50 to $5. Monoprice runs a very lean operation. Edit: Unless you're already at the store once you factor in time/gas money even next day shipping (+$20) is arguably cheaper for one cable. Adding additional cables only added an extra buck fiftyish/cable or less at all shipping rates; so unless you need them today monoprice is cheaper for bulk orders even if after factoring in next day shipping costs.
