My new word of the day [modified]

destupid: v. reducing the idiocy level in a piece of code, so that is no longer does dumb things. Yes, I needed and used this word today :sigh:.

Shouldn't this definition be apply to the programmer? On second thought, I don't know if there's a cure for idiocy. :)

"Dedumb" would be better, because it at least lets you hum the Pink Panther tune while you're working.
