After our record cold winter in the northern hemisphere its been the turn of the south: NSW experiences coldest winter in 12 years [^] Alice Springs: coldest day on record [^] Record Cold Grips South America[^] In Argentina at least its the coldest in 40 years: Record cold in 40 years in Argentina[^] Antarctica ice extent is at its greatest since records began: Southern Hemisphere (Antarctica) has quietly set a new record for most ice extent since 1979.[^] Now I know some of you will be thinking, "isnt extreme weather supposed to be part of global warming?" Well yes, it mught be, but such extremes of cold have to be very localised and very short in duration otherwise they affect the global average temperature and negate global warming. How much longer can NOAA GISS and CRUT maintain the sham (through station selection, data manipulation and satellite sensor degradation) that we are experiencing the hottest years on record?

Well we have been warm this year. I like the fact that the average you see on the nightly (at least in this area) news is a 20 year average not cumulative. I do not see trend data on the news just the news media reporting what they want us to hear. -- Granted I do not watch a lot of news. -- :-O As I have indicated before I believe in climate change not global warming. If they have started calling climate change global warming then they are dumber than I thought. IMHO

You know they chamged the name from Global Warming to Climate Change many years ago because it stopped warming dont you? The facts of the theory are that CO2 causes warming. So Global Warming it will always be. Climate CHange is just a word play designed to generate support and obfuscate the facts.
