I already know the sub-title for it: Learn all about design patterns, the things you have been doing for ages but just did not have a cool name for! Learn phrases like Fuzzy Duck Collection Engine and Balderdash Builder and wow your developer friends with your prowess! "I would be an author but I can't read, so they threw me out of Authors school."

It still makes a decent reference book for the patterns you don't know. It also provides some common language. However, there is an awful lot of "Out application is 100% buzzword compliant" garbage going on there. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

David Stone wrote: what's up with that? I am sure there is a design pattern which can explain my ever changing icon :-D Seriously though I prefer helping CP with non-editorial duties, so Chris made me a site-builder again :)

The Gang of 4[^] book is a classic. Design Patterns in Java[^] (both volumes) is also nice. /ravi Let's put "civil" back in "civilization" http://www.ravib.com ravib@ravib.com
