Hi, I want to add 5 external users to team site in sharepoint 2007. It is intranet kind of site and uses AD for authentication. I think I need to add then in sharepoint server and then give access in the site. can anyone please steer me how to do this. Thanks,

yes, you are on right track. you need to add those users in server's local users and group then add these users to particular site
