Power naps are very good for your health and for your performance. Having a nap after drinking a cup have coffee gives you an even bigger boost. A recent study showed taking a power nap during the day can undo the problems of not getting enough sleep during the day. I suggested they set aside areas here for employees to take power naps, but was knocked back.

I have worked with many people who fell asleep at work in the past. Some at their desk, some in meetings. But a girl I know who works for a newspaper in Yorkshire, a colleague of hers ever day takes a sleeping bag out of his draw and goes to sleep under his desk for an hour in the middle of the day. And I don't think this counts as napping, but I there was a girl at the school I went to with narcolepsy , she had to have people walk up and down the stairs behind / in front of her all the time.
