I'm trying to find some second-hand environmental monitoring kit to do some testing with, made by either AKCP[^] or Sensatronics[^]. So I head over to Ebay, and see what I can find. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Ebay has nothing for sale from either company. Does Ebay have some sort of filtering that I'm not aware of, preventing the listing or sale of certain items? This are industrial enviromental monitoring hardware - it's not illegal to sell it, they aren't dangerous, and so on.

I might be wrong, but maybe that is, because currently nobody is offering hardware like that?

That might be the case, but AKCP claim to be the largest manufacturer in the world of such systems, and the idea that no-one is upgrading a data centre and selling off old kit seems odd.

Either that or it's so good it never needs to be replaced. I have a toaster like that, you just have to buy new bits every now and then.

Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.
