I am so sick of this shit. :mad: During my search for a job in U.S. this is all you see at the end of the job description. I can't believe these people, I mean I would pay for my own relocation, I just want an equal shot at the job. I am trying to relocate, from one state to another, but it is nearly impossible with the above and the poor economy. anyone else noticing this?

We had the same problem when we moved to the UK. We were staying with my Dad, in an area we didn't want to work in. I applied anyway, and phoned after emailing my cv in to explain that we were waiting to get our own place, as we wanted to move as close to work as possible. As soon as they understood that we wanted to get a job first so we could move as close to it as possible they became more reasonable.

Funny, I have the exact opposite problem. I live in North Dallas and absolutely hate it. I am trying my hardest to get out of the area. You wouldn't happen to be living in Portland or San Diego at the moment? If you are I'd gladly swap with you. We'd just have to convince our employers. ps The job market here is terrible. Actually, at the moment, I live in Indiana and work in Tennessee! I'm going to try to get my family moved down here next summer. Dallas itself is an armpit, I hate the place. But I love that general area, being raised in Southwestern Oklahoma and all. I have a lot of friends and family in the region. As far as the job market goes, it's no worse in Dallas then anywhere else. Try finding work in Indiana X| What kind of work are you doing?
