Have any of you guys actually seen up close an Asus Ares GPU? WTF is that? HUGE monster. And heavy too. It comes with a custom styled mouse that's pretty cool. No, I haven't lost it completly(haven't purchased one), a designer friend of mine did. He's into 3DS max, Maya and stuff like that. Pretty cool stuff actually. I asked him why didn't he purchased a professional GPU for rendering and he said that those cards are good for work but kind of suck at games. This one provides both. It's extremly heavy too. I think araound 1.5 -2 kg, if not more. Sorry, I have no ideea about pounds and stuff. Insane card, purely insane. :)

I used to think.... Finally I realized it's no good.

Holy cow that is a monster; and so is the price. So, did he get a separate cooling system for his new beast, or just hook it up directly to the HVAC system in his home?

I just google imaged it, it's huge! Looks more like two drives from a RAID array put on top of each other than a graphics card

Meh, in a year or two it will be a hundredth the size and price, laziness pays huge dividends in purchasing computer hardware. :)
