it's not that they grounded my flight. It's not that I called at 6 am and they knew nothing, although it was totally clear that all the LA->AU flights were on A380 planes, it's not the way the staff in LA totally screwed me around, it's all of that and more, the waves and waves of incompetence that I am forced to endure. I am stuck in LA. I just want to go home.

When I saw the news this morning about the Quantas A380 "issue" the first thing I thought of "Was Christian on that flight?" ;P

Having been to the Gold Coast, I definitely concur. :) Mind you, I also saw some specimens that would have been in great danger had Queequeg been around. :~

Hehe - I saw a programme about an airline and one guy wanted to work cabin crew because he reckoned all the other male cabin crew would be gay so there would be no 'competition'. He basically got laughed off the training course with a good kick.

Each airline chooses the interior style so go by that rather than aircraft.

They are decent. I sleep on them fine. They have little bags to put your feet in which is not quite lying down, but better than sprawling, seated.

It was clear to THEM, not to me. I didn't know.
