Yes, I get the point and reference, but just to be a pedant, (and specific to Britain), the Celts were building roads before the Romans arrived and had their own laws, (interestingly enough under which women were more equal than they were at any time until the latter stages of the last century). There is also some evidence to suggest that the Roman Empire learned some of their earlier military strategy from mainland European Celts, adapting and improving on it over time ;P

They chopped down almost all forests, used a lot of other resources, recruited the locals into their army, and then they let the western part of their empire (that's us) fall into the Dark Ages. Of course Italy is not the Roman Empire, so asking them for compensation is silly, isn't it? Just as the Netherlands aren't the Dutch Empire, and the UK isn't really the British Empire..

And parts os SA (in fact quite a lot) was first settled by Westerners. (Which means the blacks have no rights over the land). The fact they are incapable of farming it efficiently has also not been mentioned. Look at Zombabwe for a good example of just what they do with the land when they get it.

Do you ever stop and wonder, what it is Niggers really are? I know the truth, and to you I will give it. Thirty-six thousand years ago a race of superior alien beings came to earth. They landed on the gigantic and empty continent known today as Africa, and in their load they carried a big number of dark-skinned individuals - niggers - who they brought along as slave labour from Mercury. The reason they are black is to protect them from the strong UV-lights so close to the sun. Niggers were harmless beings as long as they remained under strict control of their masters and were not allowed any own thoughts. If left alone in groups they quickly grew greedy and started running rampant and misbehaving. Maybe not hunt them. But stop giving aid. This does not help them. Curing them of all these diseases does not help either, they have to feed these mouths. Don't send food or money, send condoms.

With the great abstinence programs we fund here in the states that won't happen. We can't even get people here to realize abstinence programs are a complete scientificly proven failure. Some recent studies I read about said kids today are better about protecting themselves than any previous generation is right now.

Stop helping them. The population will stabilize on a size at which it is capable of growing/gathering enough food for itself. Maybe that size is zero, I doubt it, but if it is, so be it. In fact, maybe allow them to be hunted in certain areas (and only a limited number each year). This works for deer and wild boar so why not Africans? Problem solved. As a bonus, we would waste less tax money on them.

I agree that at the present, there is an amount of incapability. However, the question is, is there a willingness to learn on their part, in which case I think we owe it to them to teach them how it is done as best we know it. We did introduce them to the wider world. We can't expect them to thrive in that world without some knowledge as well.

Why assume we have any responsibility? Isnt that by its very nature superior and patronising? Of course it is. Leave them alone, dont interfere, and let them make whatever they can out of what they have.

It is blindingly obvious, and so simple. And what better way to rid ourselves of the bottom fifth of our population! (Just what School League Tables and Exams are for!) Cheap food, massive tax savings and lower unemployment. Not to mention a great motivator for the indolent classes to improve themselves! The man was a genius.
