No problem. But the truth still stands. I was always taught that a punch to the throat wins most arguments.

Your typing suddenly improved... The other question is why you chose to confront rather than walk away?

but with the risk of killing him in the process. In most case breaking something or just making them bleed is quite sufficient (although you might be surprised what people can take in a drunk or drugged state ;-))

That or a kick to the groin. I used that one once. I found it amazing how quickly I could run after doing that.

                    I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Hmm: I was taught that it is easier to take the knee out: no one ever expects it (Still, should be last resort as you can do a lot of damage). It is harder to get at the throat and head: first thing people try to protect and it's further away and a small target. Once they're down you can take your time - they're not going anywhere. :)

You think you'll get an article in the paper like the SAS boys yesterday?

One SAS two Royal Marines. And one of them had lost his legs in action. Result - SPPLLLAAATT!! It would probably have been the same if the guy in the wheelchair had been on his own mind.

In 14 minutes? Bullshit. You mistyped the post intentiionally for effect. As for bragging about fighting, well done, you can now class yourself as scum. Like the guy who attacked you.
