    Some of you might know that we are currently building a new house. Everything went fine already and I spent this week-end and yesterday working in the house with my parents. We've been placing the tiles everywhere on the ground floor. This was 3 days of hard work but we are very satisfied about the result! There's still quite some work to do in the house (kitchen, bathroom, stairs, ...) but we plan to move in somewhere around March 2011. We are currently very happy with the company that is in charge of building the house. No problems so far and they work very well. For instance, the floor on which we placed the tiles (well, I don't know the technical term in english) was prefectly flat. It made our job much easier when placing the tiles :)

      Good for you, very satisfying when you see progress being made. Hopefully you will get yours finished quicker than when i did mine! I converted 2 flats back into the original house, and it took me 7 years from when i purchased till when i moved in! Learnt a lot along the way, and yes there are things i would have done differently with what i know now, but hey thats what lifes all about. Just one big learning experience!

        How many wires inside the walls? Did you resist the overwiring temptation? Good luck with your (really yours) house! :)

          Well, we didn't put too much wires. We let the electricity work to a professional electrician.

            But isn't the satisfaction of knowing that you did it worth the effort?

              More than the total number is: did you cheap out with cat6, or splurge on cat7 for futureproofing.

              3x12=36 2x12=24 1x12=12 0x12=18
