You can always use torrents to download anything (not just movies) for free and without registration. If you meant to ask how you can download movies for free and without registration, from a site that requires either pay, registration or both, I'm afraid I don't know the answer.

well i hv used torrent years ago but since then i always had internet or dvds. Unfortunately my internet at home is not working and i just want to download a movie for tonight as am not going out anywhere and i don't want to get bored to death..lol.. But i have only 40 mins before i leave office. So it has to be quick and torrents generally take ages. Any recommendations for mac ?

Sell it and buy a decent PC ;P And no torrents don't take ages. Actually, it depends on way to many things. I donwload with 9MB+(bytes not bits) per sec.
