Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz both have some amazing comedic talent, and they just fit together well. They were a hoot on Top Gear a couple of months ago. Cruise might be a Scientology whack job, but he's a pretty good actor. My only complaint about the movie is that some of the CGI effects were crap, namely, both sequences involving airplanes, with emphasis on the one where the bad guys were buzzing his private island and shooting missiles at him. EDIT ============= My wife complained that Cruise shouldn't be allowed on screen without a shirt. Her comment - "He's too old for that sh*t, and this ain't Top Gun."

Are you kidding? The entire movie was crap. I went to watch the movie in a theater thinking it will be a good movie. I was surprised to find that I was one of the only 3 persons in the entire theater. This was just 2 days after the release. After I watched the movie I desperately wanted my money back.

Nope - not kidding. I liked it. I haven't been to an amazingly overpriced movie multiplex in over 15 years. I just wait for the movies to come out on DVD, and wait for Netflix to deliver them to my door. Cheaper, less time-consuming, I have immediate access to the nearest restroom, I can watch the movies naked if i want to, and I can get up anytime I want for a snack and not miss any of the movie. Try watching Knight and Day under those circumstances, and it's pretty nice little movie. :)

I'd feel that way after watching any movie in the theater with the prices they charge these days.

It was a good take-your-brain-out-and-enjoy type movie. But I disagree with your wife, the shirt should have been removed. Oh, Cruise had the shirt off? Damn, it should have been Diaz... :-O

I merely mentioned it because my wife made what I thought was a funny remark about it.

I just mentioned watching naked at home as a benefit over going to the over-priced movie multiplex. I have never, and will never watch a Tom Cruise movie while naked. :)
