I wish to complain about certain people gaining MVP status

Some undoubtedly earned the new status, and good luck to them. There is one member who I feel has been awarded this for whom it is probably unjustified. Whilst he has contributed, it is apparent that there are others with better knowledge and deeper understanding of the subject who were overlooked. Still, I thank Chris and the Hamster Council who saw fit to award this to me, and am humbled! w00t!

Well, I am close to the bottom of the MVP list. I don't know if it has any meaning (since Luc is at the bottom line), however scares me a bit... :)

I would like to think it was not the old school ties and Conservative Club affilliations. :) Oh wait, it isn't. It was the vast amount of money transferred to the Hamster Retirement Fund over the last year!

The only time I ever entered a Conservative Club was on my 21st birthday. It was a Sunday, and I was stuck in Holyhead, Gwynedd, back in the days when Gwynedd's licensing laws stated that no pub shall open on a Sunday. The way around that was by going to private clubs, so Holyhead (population c13,000) had about thirty pubs and about the same number of private clubs. "Your 21st birthday! We'll go to the conservative Club!" Yeah, right. From eight till eleven, it was bingo. If I so much as made my chair creak, a dozen old biddies shushed me. At ten past eleven, it closed. And you are now part of that organization! May you burn for all eternity!
