Error in Web Part Gallery

Hi, There is a requirement to add new webpart to Gallery. Hi, I am also getting exactly same error. to eleborate little more As I am not sure if somebody used or installed smart part.Just to avoid this error I installed ASP .net 2.0 AJAX Extention and restarted IIS as well as server. but this did not seems to make any diffrence on error. Please help.

Exactly the same error. Just can't find a resource to fix this one. It doesn't seem to log anything that I can find. Happens when I go to the WebPart Gallery and hit NEW.
