I am reminded of what Jack Warner once advised: "If you want to send a message, try Western Union." Agit-prop art of any sort may increase the notoriety of the artist, at least briefly, but it never reaches an audience that might have an open mind. Basically it's pandering to one fringe element by insulting another. I do find myself wondering what would happen were the self-aggrandizing Mr. Smith had the cojones to make a similar movie about Islamic fascists. I'd be willing to bet that A. Sundance wouldn't dare show it; B. if it were shown anywhere, a protest with rude signs would be the least of Smith's problems.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” ~ H.L. Mencken

Kevin's a little hefty, but certainly not of biblical proportions. I like watching the films because they are mostly filmed in my old stomping grounds...

If it pisses off Westboro, it can't be all bad... How hard is it really to create a satire with all that material.

          I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

What, like this one[^] that was shown at Sundance last year?

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Looks like I'd lose my bet. :)
