We're a landscape architect (Barnali) and tech geek (Anirvan) from San Francisco spending a year trying to live aviation-free, traveling across continents, and talking to people exploring solutions to transportation and the climate crisis[^] So hang on, planes bad, cars, busses, motorbikes, ships good? And later on their page: "Why tourism is evil". So, tell me Barnali and Anrivan, just what the fuck are you two up to? Yet more sad, dreary, desperately misguided youthfullness: http://www.yearofnoflying.com/2010/09/degrees-of-separation-london-climate-justice.html[^]
"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct from natural variation." They're not touring. They are evangalizing. :) Say do you know what a landscape architect does here in Canada? In summer they get to mow lawns and trim shrubs and bushes. In winter, they get to plow snow out driveways and walkways. Great self-employment. :)
Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is. [Yogi Berra] posting about Crystal Reports here is like discussing gay marriage on a catholic church’s website.[Nishant Sivakumar]

They are a couple of freeloading wankers out cruising the world. If you want a laugh read their blog about all the people they met. Its ludicrous. So immature.
