Well, he might have been trying to see if his software was compatible with Nish's hardware. :)

    Best wishes, Hans

Well I just hope they both used some sort of anti-virus protection - lots of nasty bugs out there. :)

We're just trying to guide you through a trying time - sometimes people go though a phase of learning about their input/output ports, and like to try interfacing in non-standard ways. Just trying to offer up some friendly advice, that's all! :)

Exactly, very important to know who you're trying to have text with.

          Best wishes, Hans

Absolutely - a simple little misdial, just off by a digit, could cause all sorts of embarrassing problems. And given CG's "problems", I think we all know where this could lead!

here across the pond we have to rely more on edge/3g/4g when travelling through cities. many wifi are paid and free ones are not safe. :(

                Well I don't mind the 3G, I just wish it wouldn't crash/black-screen so often :-(

You're having crash problems? I seem to recall you had it happen right after you got the phone but didn't know it was still going on. Makes me wonder if you've got bad hardware because it never happens to me. My only issue is that sometimes the marketplace locks up. Hitting the home button takes me back to the start screen but I can't get back into the marketplace after that until I reboot. But no general OS failures. You ought to talk to AT&T or Samsung about it.

I said it black-screened on me, not that it blew up in my face!

In older versions of windows a black screen of death meant an even bigger kaboom than a blue screen...

yep, you don't want a typo to get in the way.

                    Watched code never compiles.
