Which loads faster?

whichloadsfaster is a fun way to spread the word that web performance matters. It's about friendly competition and about testing in everybody's browser, not just ones that have nice performance tools already. Demo: http://whichloadsfaster.com[^] Thanks, Imadhusen.

My AR-15 loads faster. It takes less time to load a 30-round magazine for it, than it does to load 7 rounds into a magazine for my 1911A1 pistol.

I can do it quicker with the "Slight of Hand" perk :-)

Do what quicker? Load a 1911 magazine? I have a quick-loader for the AR that lets me load 10 rounds from stripper clips in about 3 seconds (about 10 seconds total for a full mag). It takes me that long to do just one round for the 1911, and my 1911 magazines each hold 7 rounds (about 25 seconds for a full magazine)...

I'm on-line therefore I am. JimmyRopesIt's not a matter of practice. It's a matter of stuffing one round at a time into a sprin-loaded rectangle. The more rounds, the more tension.

That is just how those sprins work.

"Why don't you tie a kerosene-soaked rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass." - Dale Earnhardt, 1997When I was a teenager I was over at a friends house. While in his room he showed me his ar-15 clip. Still looking at it when he said, hey I want to show you something I pocketed it in my back pocket and ran to follow. He opened a closet and handed me the AR-15. I jokingly said, "How do you know I am not going to rob you now?", his reply, "Oh, it's empty. Even if you had a magazine you wouldn't be able to figure out how to chamber a round" let's just say the story ended well with one party learning the lesson about assuming the level of an end-users knowledge and the other knowing how to operate an assault rifle. I mean if a marine can do it ...
