I used to have to greet the new PhD's at a R&D lab where I used to work. It was a setup. Someone would come into the lab and introduce the new person and say that they had a PhD. I would respond that I was very impressed but just don't touch anything. They usually didn't know what to say. Then we would all laugh and say welcome to the lab.
