I'm currently developing a PHP guestbook for the website of the school of one of my kids. I know codeproject has some cool smileys. So I was thinking: can I use those smileys for my guestbook or are they copywrighted by someone?

Thanks Chris, I don't think the children like to eat vegemite. It doesn't taste like chocolats, doesn't it? ;P Actually what is vegemite? I'll put a link to codeproject beneath the list of smileys. Do you understand Dutch? Ofcourse then you can take a look at http://www.7-sprong.be[^]

Marmite ( ) and Vegimite ( X| ) are a type of spread for sandwiches, made from yeast extract. They are a thick blackish, brownish type of substance, which will burn your mouth if you spread it on the bread too thickly. The beefy versions don't burn your mouth however much you put on, it just starts to taste too salty. HTH :)

Boy, that sure doesn't sound appetizing, oh well, maybe I will try it sometime, however I doubt they sell it at the stores here. Nick Parker

I actually found a jar of Marmite in our local store, though they tastefuly neglect to stock Vegemite. Reading the label confirmed my preconceived notion that the name comes from it's main ingredient, marmot dung.
