    hi.. i'm facing a new problem in ssrs reports ... i have hosted an asp.net application which is running fine in XP.. but when i open the application in UBANTU OS application is working fine but reports in kannada are not displaying it is displaying some russian character .. same problem when i export to PDF it is displaying some russian character.. In windows XP prof3 Kannada reprots are working fine.. but in ubantu OS it is not displaying the fonts.. what to do... ? help me....

      1. Try to use Unicode instead of a special Windows code page. 2) Indian fonts are not very common, I wouldn't expect to find any Indian fonts except perhaps Devanagari on a "normal" computer. You have to install the fonts. In Ubuntu (I guess you mean Ubuntu when you say Ubantu), some South Indian localizations are available for the system, I don't know for Kannada. Just install some of these localizations, and the respective fonts will also be installed. Then test with Firefox and a web page in that language. Oh, let's try: ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ
