I am not a code warrior. But I am trying and have some info and a start but issues need to be addressed, Like: Using Microsofts speech recognition engine, is not easy. XML is not too hard. Or... should a whole new speech engine be created. And yeah. Fast response. I did not expect it. Thanks, smiles PS: Here are 3 sites of what I have gathered. 1. http://www.torchingigloos.com/articles3/article\_49.html --Make your computer talk and respond. A Great website 2. http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/wsrmacros --XML Macros to help 3. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306537/EN-US/ --How to install and configure speech recognition Very good luck all and Thanks in advance for all who help. It is greatly appreciated

Why does no code warrior wish to create an interactive responding with speech program? I have seen many. But yuck, really bad. they do not learn these so called responding bots. I tested and tested many. Well I sure hope we get on this soon.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I find it hard to understand exactly what you mean from your written English - so what chance would software have with spoken English? (or any other language)

I had no idea there were so many active people here. Thanks all for the response. I do hope those links on responding computers helps. I truly wish someone would be serious about this idea although the idea has been around for sometime. Anyone here know why no one seems to want to write this code? Here are a few of my ideas on why. Designers are afraid they will get competition? People will use it as a Mentor? It could put education out of business? Anyone have anymore ideas on why? Thanks all
