A four arm pick-n-place machine made from Lego. Amazing... http://tinkernology.blogspot.com/2011/04/four-lego-delta-robots.html[^] -- Ian
Truly amazing... The kinematics, the artificial vision, the servo-control... everything here... this is more or less like this professional application: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8G59zTXVHHU[^]... PS: if you have time take a look at this other video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOESSCXGhFo&feature=related[^]... this can be achieved thanks to the fact that the same controller can pilot up to four robots... PS2: all the videos come from ABB (robot manufacturer) and are safe for work and KSS... (added this to make everyone feel safer).

And the article starts with "Years of development, months of building and programming. Here it is." Wow! The really cool bit is each arm picks up an object and places it in a different tray to avoid cluttering of any one tray. The arm alternates between 4 trays (I think).
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

The second video is just great.......they would make such excellent toys! I like the similiar video to the first, the pancake picker, 4 Flexpickers stacking the pancakes at high speed (400/min). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wg8YYuLLoM0[^]
