Step 1. User submits ticket for something dun gone wrong. Step 2. I have no idea what they are talking about and ask for clarification. Step 3. User waits 2 days to reply and says it's all better now. Step 4. I tell CodeProject about steps.

There is always the other version: 1. You receive the ticket asking for urgent help telling you that the end of the world is coming. 2. You stop doing what you are doing and go asap there. 3. Ask for information, think about the problem. Ask for cooperation from the user explaining that he/she should do something that it is quite easy to achieve. 4. After some time the user tells you that everything is ok. He/she has solved it doing a real mess like a bad workaround... 5. ...

Step 5. Repair to lounge bar of the Kings Arms and imbibe a snifter of the aperitif du jour.

When does the article come out?

Well as it stands the article is highly technical and full of company secrets. I don't know if I can release it under the CP license. I'll have to run it by legal.

Mine's been terrible: 0. Turn up. 1. Fuff around on CP 2. Pub for lunch. 3. Fuff around some more on CP 4. Go home.
