      Old girlfriend from high school friended me on Facebook recently. Haven't spoken to her in 20+ years. She asked me what I'm doing now. Told her I'm a computer programmer...that was 2 months ago...never heard from her again... Seriously, do us programmers have a disease or something? Next time I'm going to say I'm an international spy who drives a Maserati... :cool:

            Usually it's best performed surgically by a professional medical team, but I believe there are DIY kits available. :)

                  seriously speaking, I love programming, because I feel that it gives me power to build interesting things and do not give much thought to the social stigma associated with it:)

                                        I received strange looks and comments in high school when I would program during our free "study" period. However, after thinking about some of my former classmates that I knew reasonably well, I'm one of the few who studied at a university and has a successful career. Not saying you can't have a successful career in some other field and without getting a degree, but many of my classmates lacked a drive to accomplish anything in life...at least it seems that way.
