Business class travel, a 5 star suite all to myself on the company dollar and I had a fucking blast. Somewhere in there was exatcly 40 hours of work (well, I was physically in the office) and not a moment more, the rest is a bit of a blur. I cycled, took in a museum, smoked, did some shopping, read an entire book and there was food, so much good food! Hotel breakfasts, room service, restaurants and endless bar shnacks. Most of all there were no children, no nappies, no whining, no bottles, no waking up three times a night, nothing! Like any holiday business trip, coming back to reality is a bitch

Yep she's gonna be pissed from looking after the gromets on her own for the last week. You're story should be along the lines of worked 80+ hours, it was cold and wet all week, the hotel was only 3 star and the dope was lousy. She won't believe it but it is worth a try.

Whenever I went on business trips before we were in the software vendor's office from 8 in the morning to 11pm. Hardly any time for fun. I envy you :( :sigh:
