    From the alt text of this XKCD[^], which explains that everything on Wikipedia eventually leads to philosophy. I give you the 2005 debut album of M.I.A, "Arular"[^], to Philosophy[^] in 19 clicks! Not quite 7 degrees of separation, but what can you do. XKCD, telling the whole truth one damn funny comic at a time!

    "The computer industry is the only industry that is more fashion-driven than women's fashion. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I have no idea what anyone is talking about. What is it? It's complete gibberish. It's insane. When is this idiocy going to stop?" -- Oracle CEO Larry Ellison

      Was theft of artistic creations somewhere in there? Sorry, I just hate M.I.A. she is a thief, not a musician.

        I'm pretty sure I've only ever heard one song by M.I.A. so I'll take your word for it. I only started there because it was the featured article of the day, which seems strange now that I think of it because it's a 2005 album...

          *cough* Seems like an ad *cough cough* I wonder if her label or herself made a contribution to the wiki cause?

            Are you trying to insinuate that wikipedia isn't completely unbiased?? :wtf: How about this, XKCD[^] to Philosophy in 19 clicks too! Or The Code Project[^] to Philosophy in only 12 clicks! There's something strange going on here...

              Nobody really knows what "philosophy" means, so it is a lot like chicken (or Tasty Wheat). Since you haven't assigned a specific meaning (taste/definition) to it, everything seems like it in one way or another.

                There was a surge of article editing on Wikipedia last week (or the week before) when XKCD released that strip; the editing tried to either create the links or break them. kind of silly mindless fun, but sometimes annoying. M.

                  I'm not dismissing the the wiki / philosophy connection, I don't find it surprising at all. It seems most things lead to language or communication, which leads to philosophy. I'm insinuating that posting a pop album from 2005 as a featured article is as good as an ad IMHO. Hell, the external links are places to buy the thing!

                    IIRC the article of the day is picked randomly.

                    3x12=36 2x12=24 1x12=12 0x12=18
