    /// {snip}
    /// Temporary solution.{snip}

    Temporary solution for almost 3 years? Is this PR? Lies? Or management just doesn't know how crappy software their company sometimes is releasing? Doesn't matter... I will never trust again when deciding if get a new job. :|

          Reading your post I've remembered Vista... which has been in the market for several years and most of us would not say that has passed the temporary solution status... Oh and don't start me on the printer drivers installation packages from HP... in some cases they have not even reach the temporary solution status... :rolleyes:

            Everyone knows the old adage of the Showmen (fairground people, UK): "If a temporary fix makes it through a season, then it becomes a permanent fix" I like to apply that to software. Replace 'season' with 'release cycle'

                Newer version will remove the content, what matters is user satisfaction, I love them.

                I only read newbie introductory dummy books.

                  Meh, when temporary taxes stay on the book over a century[^], a 3 year old kludge is hardly newsworthy. The platform the code was written in will be scrapped long before it gets anywhere near that old. :rolleyes:
