Tobacco and alcohol both affect sperm and egg production. There's some argument about how much alcohol is needed to start impacting egg production but in men alcohol intake results in a rise in estrogen levels which reduces sperm count and it acts as a toxin, killing sperm in the testicles.

Clearly, they spend too much time being nice to the invisible man in the sky, and not enough time being nice to each other. I have a theory as to why people in our countries aren't that nuts... It's not that we have less religious folk, but that we have enough different KINDS of religious folk, all disagreeing on which deities to worship and rules to follow, that no single religion can assert total control. So it's our division that makes us sane(r), and their unity that makes them crazy.
