I've add block installed for as long as I can remember, but recently added CP to the list of sites that I let show me ads (they've earned it). For weeks after enabling the ads I didn't see any, then today I noticed my first one. It was for a company called Stimulsoft. Now, without looking, what are they selling? edit - fixed the spelling of ads

Was it from LakeQunicy (CPs ad company for programming sites) or doubleclick (what the hamsters serve up when there's a shortage of relevant ads at LQ)? I only let one get through to my box.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius

Exactly. It remains a mystery to me how so many gifted people, who make their livings by being extremely precise in expressing their ideas in a complex foreign language, can so frequently and consistently screw up simple spelling and diction in their native tongues.

When writing code the compiler doesn't let you misspell anything. Let's face it, with intellisense you often don't even have to type in more than the first 2 or 3 letters of the word. Unfortunately, with CP, the guys have to type everything themselves.

What CP doesn't need is intellisense. The pasting helper and code-block helper are annoying enough.

                        Real men don't use intellisense.

Yep, I want to type CAST(mydatetime AS DATE) and I get CAST(mydatetime AS DATEADD). I agree with CPallini. "Real men don't use intellisense."
